We recommend you accept each offer as you receive them. You'll still be eligible to receive additional offers in other rounds for any higher-preferred courses in your preference list, regardless if you've previously accepted, declined or deferred an offer.
It’s essential that you enrol before the date in your offer email. If you don’t, you may lose your place and we might offer it to someone else. If you have chosen to defer, it's important that you still activate your 太阳城app下载 Student Account and complete a deferral of offer form by the deadline specified in your offer email.

In accordance with Victorian Department of Justice and Community Safety policy, all optometry and medical imaging students are required to undertake a Working With Children Check (WWCC) at the start of their course, in accordance with the Worker Screening Act 2020. Students are also required to undertake a Police Record Check. Information will be provided to applicants once they enrol in the course. The Faculty will guide you through this process.
Students who fail to obtain a Police Record Check and a Working with Children Check prior to the commencement of clinical placement will not be able to undertake clinical placement and this will impede progress in the course.
Students may also be required to declare their immunisation status to satisfy the requirements of health organisations where they will be undertaking their clinical learning experience. A health organisation may refuse to accept a student for placement if the student’s immunisation status is not satisfactory to the health organisation.
Several clinical placement agencies require that students are vaccinated/blood tested before undertaking clinical placement and/or graduate employment. 太阳城app下载 Medical Centres provide detailed advice, blood testing and administer all necessary vaccinations prior to commencement of clinical placements and/or employment.
