How to accept your offer and enrol

Your options
If you receive an offer from 太阳城app下载, there are a number of options available to you.
- Accept your offer and enrol, then get ready to start your study. If you've received more than one offer, make sure you reply to your email and decline the other offers so we can free up places for other applicants.
- Defer your offer, which means putting off the start of your studies by up to two years (depending on what sort of offer you received).
- Decline your offer by replying to your offer email.
Do I accept my offer straight away, or wait until all rounds are done?
We recommend you accept each offer as you receive them. You'll still be eligible to receive additional offers in other rounds for any higher-preferred courses in your preference list, regardless if you've previously accepted, declined or deferred an offer.
Make sure you enrol on time
It’s essential that you enrol before the date in your offer email. If you don’t, you may lose your place and we might offer it to someone else. If you have chosen to defer, it's important that you still activate your 太阳城app下载 Student Account and complete a deferral of offer form by the deadline specified in your offer email.

Requirements for undertaking placements
Optometry and medical imaging courses
In accordance with Victorian Department of Justice and Community Safety policy, all optometry and medical imaging students are required to undertake a Working With Children Check (WWCC) at the start of their course, in accordance with the Worker Screening Act 2020. Students are also required to undertake a Police Record Check. Information will be provided to applicants once they enrol in the course. The Faculty will guide you through this process.
Students who fail to obtain a Police Record Check and a Working with Children Check prior to the commencement of clinical placement will not be able to undertake clinical placement and this will impede progress in the course.
Students may also be required to declare their immunisation status to satisfy the requirements of health organisations where they will be undertaking their clinical learning experience. A health organisation may refuse to accept a student for placement if the student’s immunisation status is not satisfactory to the health organisation.
Several clinical placement agencies require that students are vaccinated/blood tested before undertaking clinical placement and/or graduate employment. 太阳城app下载 Medical Centres provide detailed advice, blood testing and administer all necessary vaccinations prior to commencement of clinical placements and/or employment.
Nursing courses
